Above The Oceans has an excellent reputation of getting the job done, with no fuss. We offer a ’turnkey’ service - we ask for a fixed fee from clients and the aircraft will be delivered to the ramp at the destination aerodrome, with all en route fees and charges settled by us. We have world-wide route and aerodrome experience, including all of the African continent and the Middle East. In addition to our flights across the North Atlantic, we have delivered many aircraft to/from Europe and South Africa over the years. Brian also flew for Cathay Pacific Airways for 23 years as a 747 Captain, and is well familiar with Pacific and American operations.

We regard legal compliance and flight safety as two sides of the same coin and both are essential - if there’s any doubt, there’s no doubt. We have invested a lot in safety, survival and communications equipment, including among other things, satcom, marine and airband VHF, and very good life rafts. We keep clients up to date throughout the ferry flight as to the position and performance of their aircraft. We regard the temporary custodianship of a client’s aircraft as a great declaration of trust, and ensure that the aircraft arrives on the destination ramp in the same condition it left the departure ramp. We are regarded as an insurance low risk by the underwriters on the London and New York markets

Brian holds an FAA (SE/ME) ATP, and both UK and EASA ATPLs with SE/ME endorsements, and now a Honda Jet rating. Although European based, we operate world-wide, so, for example, USA to Central and South America would be of interest to us as well as the Americas to Europe or Africa. Brian can fly (and has flown) most aircraft below 12,500lbs. Should you need a ferry crew for an aircraft requiring a type rating, we can source a crew but would insist on being present ourselves to make sure the job is done the Above The Oceans way.
